I'm Reika. I am Japanese, born and raised in Japan. Working on my business while parenting a two-year-old.
My hobby is traveling abroad. So I have traveled to many countries.

My mission

To introduce wonderful Japanese products to the world!

It all started when I was traveling abroad. In my travels, I came across many fake Japanese brand products. The quality of these products was very poor, and I became sad that people thought this was made in Japan. So, I started to tell people about the actual Japanese products and their quality.

Why do fake Japanese brands appear in the market?

Japanese products are expensive, and that might be the reason. But why are the prices getting so high? It is not only a matter of shipping costs from Japan to overseas. The biggest problem is Japan's industrial structure which has been in place for a long time.

Surprisingly, Japan's industrial structure has not changed over the years, and there are still trading and wholesale companies. These companies profit by being between manufacturers and consumers, handling the paperwork.

However, there are two significant problems with these companies. One problem is that even if manufacturers produce good products, they only sell them to specific trading companies with long-standing relationships, making it difficult to obtain products at low prices.

The other problem is that trading companies and wholesalers have too much power, and the manufacturers become dependent, unable to expand their sales channels as much as they would like. For more details, please refer to the figure below.

What benefits does this industrial structure have for consumers? Doesn't it just make the price of goods higher?
If the Japanese products are too expensive, people might consider buying lower-priced fake Japanese brands.

So, I want to create platform where manufacturers and overseas buyers could communicate directly without trading companies with an industrial structure that has existed in Japan for a long time. This way, customers could purchase good Japanese products at low prices!

Roadmap

My vision is to launch the platform by 2027. 

Wipe out an image "Japanese products are expensive" by removing intermidiaries in the value chain and introducing reasonably priced, high-quality products!
