Independent Artist

Hi, my name is Scarlet and I am an Independent artist.

In 2019 I decided to quit my job and finally go after my dream to become an independent singer-songwriter.  I used the little money I had to invest in a home studio so I can afford to record whenever I needed to. Since then I’ve been featured in quite a few online magazines like VoyageLA, Buzz Music and even named punk rock queen in SpitMad. I’ve also been blessed enough to do a duet with Malawian Star Search Winner McLuther Mambala, a Jazz fusion single titled “Obsession”. Recently I’ve been awarded FEMALE EMERGING ARTIST OF THE YEAR by the International Singer-Songwriters Association. Words cannot express my gratitude for making it this far with what I have.

Moving forward with my career, my struggle is quality and visuals. Though I am able to record from home I still lack the skills and environment to create Industry-level quality recorded music. I've had radio stations tell me I am a promising artist but my music lack the quality needed to get placed and most music executives wouldn't listen after a few seconds of hearing the quality of my product. Besides that, I don't have any eye-catching visuals to help me go further with my musical storytelling. I also do my own marketing and promotion and even though I have gotten enough attention to be placed in some magazines and collaborate internationally, It's not enough to be featured in Major Music Magazines, or Major Radio Stations, or even reach the billboards. With your help I'm hoping to raise enough money to be able to Record My first Album Professionally, Provide at least 3 Music videos for 3 songs on my album, get a marketing team to be able to get my music featured in Pitchfork, Spin and a few other well known music magazines, get it licensed for film and finally hit the Billboard charts. With my accomplishments thus far and with your help, I believe I can make this goal a reality.
