The Hub Book Bar

 The Hub Book Bar is an innovative learning hub located in the heart of the Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn, NY. The Hub Book Bar has a mission of educating the community through books, food, and workshops. In this age of social media, people are no longer learning from reading books or through human interaction but merely from what is said online. At The Hub, we pride ourselves on teaching through everyday interactions like healthy food choices, self-worth through book selections and that nothing is impossible. The Hub Book Bar is located across the street from an elementary and junior high school. As the community is changing it is important for the youth to have spaces where they can learn freely and without judgment. The great thing about The Hub as well is that adults are able to share the space with youth and learn from each other. We are seeking funding for The Hub Book Bar so we can be able to successfully fulfill our mission of providing a cohesive learning space for both children and adults. The funding will be spent on marketing products like an awning and appliances. The Hub Book Bar is mainly ran by our female shero but our team consists of a financial analyst, bookkeeper, marketer and strategist.
