Project Description
Our Mission at A & D Design Company is to help Women Entrepreneurs right here in our own communities. Located In Memphis, Tennessee, our poverty rate is steadily increasing at high rates (120%), along with an extremely low income family ratio.We believe our company's program can aid in the process of helping lower this epidemic by helping Women Entrepreneurs right in our community establish a business, and sustain it -successfully.
This program is intended to help those who are willing to work, and are ready to commit to owning a business get started. One major factor that we have noticed in our area is that there are not enough programs or resources geared towards helping these individuals with the foundations of starting said businesses. Also, it takes funding to get certain licenses, and permits to start these ventures correctly in accordance to all laws and regulations.
The market for women entrepreneurs in our community is overwhelmingly high- yet, when you don't know how, or where to start- you never start. This absence in the community is greatly needed, and with one in place, it would make a huge impact on these women lives.
Our company was started by women, and is led by women. We know the amount of dedication it takes to make a startup or small business develop. There were alot of set backs, and "do-overs", but this helped us as a company grow. It taught us what works, and what doesn't. If we would have had the resources then, that we help others with now, we would have saved a lot of tears and headaches.
We aim to change this stigma, and help women establish businesses that will help them, help themselves.It will start with your help, and continue through her.
We are currently seeking funding to help with licences, permits,vendor permits, websites, marketing, advertising tools, online ecommerce stores, and even company branded apparel.
We have a team of advisors who help make A & D Design Company great. We operate on good ethics and morals- and this is reciprocated in the work that we do for our clients, and program recipients.
