Helping Hands

LaDreamer & Daisy Helping Hands Foundation Inc was founded in 2020 by a mother and daughter. Two passionate individuals that enjoy helping and giving back to the community. Founder La'Dreamer Lark (30) & Co Founder Dreamer "Daisy" Jones Lark (5) saw the opportunity to help their community thrive and took action immediately.

For the past 3 years with monetary contributions, the help of my colleagues and the community, we were able to giveaway 250 Pre-Assembled backpacks. Each backpack was pre-assembled with pencils, pencil sharpeners, pens, crayons, markers, loose-leaf paper, composition notebooks, folders, rulers, glue, and hand sanitizer which was donated from my employer Northwell Health. We were able to feed the children, raffle scooters, entertain, and play a host of fun activities. For 3 years straight, people were able to witness my daughter and I do something extraordinary for our community.

We also held a mask distribution event helping take control of the coronavirus in New York City. The masks distribution took place at the Esplanade Gardens Cooperative. Our first event was Saturday, February 13, 202, and a second event on February 27. During the first event we distributed over 25,000 KN95 masks to more than a dozen community organizations for redistribution to their clients, we equaled that number in the second redistribution meeting.
