Short Summary
Hatchub aims to connect emerging innovators to solve global problems and accelerate the development and expansion process by connecting founders to advisors and investors.
We are a global entrepreneurial learning platform, society, networking site, & venture capital firm all in one.
The methodology is as follows:
Anyone who is a current college student or recent graduate who is working on a project or has an interest in joining a team can apply. Upon acceptance, the innovator will join a community of like-minded individuals who have the common goal of creating products to solve large-scale issues. Each independent founder will be able to choose their teammates and advisors; they can continue working alone if they prefer or with people outside the community. In the same respect, each Hatchub member (innovators/advisors) will be able to decide which product team(s) they would like to join once invited by a founder. Founders will form equity agreements with members and advisors they bring onboard. There will be periodic virtual events to meet new members, brainstorm, and share insights. Once it is safe to meet in-person, we will organize events, exclusive to Hatchub members, advisors, and investors.
We're eventually going to establish various physical co-working spaces (hubs) around the world to further facilitate collaborative innovation for entrepreneurs. Hatchub will bring the Bay Area to you - there will be periodic pitch events, learning opportunities, meetups, and visiting mentors, investors, etc. We are also working on launching a magazine, which will highlight emerging innovators and technologies.
Since our launch three weeks ago, we have received over 300 innovator applications from students all over the world from such universities as Caltech, Harvard, Minerva, University of Michigan, Yale, Brown University, Babson, Cornell, Berkeley, and UPenn; and have formed partnerships with industry professionals from such companies as Oracle, Soma Capital, Global Founders Capital, as well as Y-Combinator alumni.

The Impact
There is a huge barrier to entry for young people to become successful founders due to the resources required that usually take years of normal industry experience to establish. Hatchub allows emerging innovators to connect, learn, and fast-track the discovery and development process. We help the next generation of entrepreneurs change the world.
Hatchub isn't just about helping founders expand an idea/product that is already established. Our goal is to connect the next generation of innovators from around the world and train them on how to use their diverse talents in teams to create world-changing products. We provide guidance and assistance at each step of the process. We aren't bound to a certain timeframe or location.
Our Goals
- To teach young people how to think critically and show them how their ideas can make a positive impact.
- To solve some of the world's biggest issues through collaboration with diverse talent.
- To fast-track the development and expansion process for the sake of rapid global development.
- To help innovators forge life-long connections & friendships within a global community.
- To enable innovators to accelerate their growth through unique experiences.
- To push and motivate each other through the inherently difficult startup process.
Problems We're Focused on Solving
These are just some of the areas that we are focused on curating challenges for and teaching our innovators about. We have the core belief that in order for humanity to prosper in the long-term, we must teach the young how to come up with progressive solutions and guide them during each step of the development process.
