Hope For Life Inc. is a organization that attempts to moderate the negative impacts of apathy, lack of available services, and poverty on the population of Fayetteville North Carolina and the surrounding communities. The organization’s projects, implemented by a well-trained staff, provide many opportunities for the reduction of depravity and suffering through the provision of much needed outreach services. Supporting the development of self-confidence, empowerment, and personal growth, Hope For Life Inc .provides many individuals in our area with a thorough foundation for future success. Promoting individual empowerment and self-determination have always been strong components of the organization’s outreach programs. Initiated by Shanita Morris, these outreach programs were conceived and organized to address the social needs of our community, community, to counteract failure, and to assist in the successful transition to life in a positive environment. Recognizing the needs that exist in our local community, the staff provides several programs that focus on poverty alleviation, individual empowerment and outreach programs to those in need. The organization’s goals are accomplished by implementation of stimulating activities and materials that are organized around a well-developed prospectus. Ongoing evaluation assures progress and cost-effectiveness. The organization has been funded primarily through private donations. Fundraising is a continuous, ongoing effort. A grant from a FOUNDATION will assist in the survival of the organization’s projects. This funding will be used for costs related to personnel, program, and administrative expenses.Hope For Life Inc, Is a organization located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The organization originally began operating as a part of New Vision Destiny Ministries, located in Dunn, North Carolina. As the organization grew it became apparent that it would be better served to separate and begin operating as an independent organization. On April 7th of 2011 Hope For Life, Inc. was official incorporated in the State of North Carolina.Inc. Hope For Life Inc provides three main outreach programs to the community. These services include a food pantry, clothing distribution program and in the near future the organization would like to open a short term emergency shelter. The programs are designed to address the needs of the distressed and underserved members of our community. The programs offered by our organization are open to anyone who finds themselves in a time of need. Our goal as an organization is to provide each individual we have the opportunity to serve with the resources and support they need to get on their feet and become successful and productive members of society.  The organization and its outreach programs are the brain child of the organization’s Executive Director, Mrs. Shanita Morris. Mrs. Morris originally began the organization as a program which was designed to collect and distribute school supplies to local school children. As the local economy deteriorated and increasing numbers of people found themselves in need the lack of programs in the community designed to, or working to, address these needs grew more apparent. In addition to a lack of community based outreach programs there is also a lack of shelters in the local community which are dedicated to serving single individuals. As Mrs. Morris became aware of these needs within the community she shifted the focus of the organization to coincide with the needs of the community.  All of the programs offered by our organization are overseen by the Executive Director and a well-experienced staff of volunteers. These individuals have also demonstrated excellent community leadership characteristics and provide the necessary skills for governing the organization and administeringboth its current and upcoming projects. Hope For Life  Inc. will strive to reach out to and serve as many distressed and underservedindividuals in our community as possible. Every person is important to us. By securing volunteers, staff, materials, and resources, we believe we can make a significant positive impact on the lives of the individuals participating in our organization’s programs. It is our goal to provide at-risk populations with a thorough foundation for future success by providing them with the opportunities necessary to rebuild their lives.  Across the United States, a recognizable need has developed for the provision of outreach services for individuals and families. While the obstacles that must be faced by residents can be seen as immeasurable, some of the most pressing issues facing families as a result of the economy today is food insecurity, and lack of resource to obtain clothing and furniture. This is especially evident in underprivileged, low-income populations. Each year the statistics become more disheartening. It is apparent that there is a need for programs that seek to reverse these disturbing trends.In support of our main goal, the organization aspires to• Reduce the number of individuals who are panhandling in our community and assist our participants in finding jobs, quality housing and helping them to get back on their feet• Get our soup kitchen up and running so we will be able to begin feeding those who are in need• Develop and trained a qualified staff to successfully carry out the various programs we will be offering• Expand our program to reach more individuals living in communities outside of our current service areas as well as those individuals who we have not been able to serve in the past• Continue developing our name within the community and build a strong reputation for delivering the highest quality services possible with the resources we have available • Create a positive change in the lives of the individuals we are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with• Build long-standing partnerships with other organizations in the community that share the same vision• Obtain the funding necessary to develop and open a facility that can provide temporary shelter while individuals are working to get back or their feet.The organization will present life enhancing opportunities to those in need by offering various outreach services to all individuals in the community, however we will be targeting those from distressed and/or underprivileged backgrounds. These programs will include, but not be limited to, a food and clothing distribution and a short term emergency shelter. As our organization grows we will be adding additional services in order to better address the needs of those individuals we are working with and the community as a whole. Each of our organization’s program activities will be designed to enhance the lives and skills of those individuals who are involved.
