Alone, each person is MORE than enough, but together… we are infinite.
The Get Together is a revolutionary annual 3-Night, 4-Day festival designed to celebrate and elevate those who identify as women. We provide a tangible platform for women to be seen and heard, to learn important skills, gain valuable knowledge and build lasting relationships that grow into business partnerships, mentorships, and life-long friendships.
August 8-11th, 2019

Our vision, at The Get Together, is to foster a global community of women that support one another in personal and collective evolution. We believe that it is essential to spark these relationships through an annual event that directly connects women by providing an in-person opportunity for knowledge, skill, story and passion exchange.
Over the next few years, we want The Get Together to grow into the largest annual festival in North America designed to elevate and celebrate the diversity of what it means to identify as a woman. In order to do this, we need to lay the appropriate foundations for growth in this inaugural year. This campaign will allow us to do that and we invite you to join us in bringing this revolutionary movement to life!
Being a part of a community enriches our physical and emotional lives, but many women find it challenging to seek out & nourish these meaningful connections. Often, when we get busy with our work or family, these incredibly supportive relationships are the first to go!
When women exchange ideas, insights, and vulnerable truths, incredible shifts happen. Being in the company of open-hearted, supportive women helps us to think bigger when we feel small and opens us up to new perspectives when we can't see the possibilities on our own. Together we can help to turn down the volume of the fear voices in our heads and crank up our self-worth "talk" and belief in our own potential.

A community that fosters vulnerable connection and builds lasting friendships, mentorships and business relationships.

We are a group of people committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment aimed at uniting and elevating those who identify as women. Over the past 4 years, we have gathered women-identified people in a variety of different retreat formats to connect, share knowledge and celebrate diverse experience.
We have seen first hand the transformations that occur when women come together and with a growing waiting list for these events, we have decided it is now time to expand into an annual festival!

In attending The Get Together you are no mere 'attendee'.
Throughout the festival we will be hearing from expert keynote speakers, powerful female founders and indulging in live music and performances. BUT we also believe that just by existing everyone has wisdom worth sharing. That is why, unlike any other festival, The Get Together will provide you (and every attendee) with a platform to share your unique passion or expertise in one of four ways through ‘Wisdomsharing’.
Location
The Get Together takes place at The Evolved Life, 150-acre farm in Plattsville, located near Kitchener, Ontario Canada. This land is alive with a spring-fed river, swimming pond, apple orchard, forest trails, cedar trees and is home to diverse flora and fauna and luckily, us for the duration of this festival!

As this is our inaugural year we are building everything from the ground up. Putting on a 4-day event with 300 people takes a large amount of capital. Aside from production costs, our main goal for this crowdfunding campaign is to raise money so that we can make this event accessible to those who may be facing financial barriers. In addition to keeping ticket costs low, we are aiming to be able to offer a number of sponsorship tickets through our ‘WiseWomen Scholarships’.
Our long-term goal is to grow this event, over the next 3 years into the largest annual festival for those who identify as women, in the world. To do this, we need to lay foundations for rapid growth. This includes being able to pay members of our team for their time (everyone is a volunteer right now!) and to create new job opportunities for people who want to join our team and devote their lives to supporting women's empowerment. Furthermore, contributing to this campaign means we will be able to afford video and sound equipment so we can record content and share it with the world as a way of welcoming more people into this broader mission! We do not see this as just an annual event. We want to build it into a global network of women, supporting women.

What happens after I purchase my reward?

Who can attend The Get Together?
Participation is open to all women identifying people, 19+ of age, regardless of their assigned sex at birth. The Get Together is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all of our community members.
Are trans women welcome?
Absolutely.
Where does The Get Together take place?
The Get Together takes place at The Evolved Life, located in Plattsville, Ontario, Canada. The Oxford Country region in which The Get Together happens each year has a rich history and is home to many rivers and lakes fuelled by natural springs.
What does a ticket include?
The ticket to The Get Together includes a 3 night camping pass, access to showers and bathrooms, three nourishing daily vegetarian breakfasts and dinners, four full days of wisdomshare’s, daily morning rituals, and evening gatherings that include dancing, live music, singing, and more!
Are tickets refundable?
The Get Together tickets are not refundable. They, however, can be transferred to other guests. Please contact us if you need to transfer your ticket to a different name.
