Project Description
As a Black woman-owned business in San Diego County, my mission to promote women and people of color in the wine and beer industry came to life by creating SIP Wine & Beer. Witnessing a grassroots movement succeed through community, culture, and conversation has been a life-changing experience. I am excited to continue elevating women and BIPOC communities through Fresh Glass, a lifestyle docu-series airing on KPBS, PBS, Create TV, and other affiliates in Fall 2022. Created by Fresh Glass Productions, LLC, a company formed by Theresa Hoiles and myself, our mission is to amplify the voices of women and BIPOC entrepreneurs. Fresh Glass Productions, LLC is the conduit to representation through storytelling, community engagement, and advocacy.
Fresh Glass is a deep dive into the food and beverage industry with guests whose backgrounds, personalities, and journeys symbolize empowerment, grit, and perseverance. As your host, viewers will join me on adventures to wineries, breweries, and restaurants, sharing the stories and spirits of women and BIPOC innovators.
We are humbled to be a part of the Public Television ecosystem and KPBS family and mission to provide "stories that make us think, help us dream, and keep us connected." Fresh Glass guests embody a strong work ethic, purposeful business practices, and proof that the pursuit of the American dream runs through the veins of every citizen, no matter their color or gender.
