Franck offers a smarter solution for savvy couples who are looking for autonomy in the planning process. We provide a solution that:

- Provides an expertly curated selection of rental products based on their own design and pricing preferences
- Allows couples to shop for all their rental product in one place, giving them one invoice instead of 3 - 6+ different invoices
The US wedding market is a $55B industry, with 2.1 million couples getting married in 2019 (The Wedding Report). For 11% of the market, California is the wedding destination of choice. The average wedding budget in California is $29,640 with about 6% of the budget being allocated to rental furnishings and decor.
With all of the wedding planning apps out there, a one-stop-shop for event rentals doesn't exist.
Our marketplace takes advantage of the current industry-standard commission of 15% for event rental orders placed through a professional planner.
The need for making wedding planning more accessible and design tools more modern existed long before the pandemic, but is even more in demand today. The consensus of the research on the industry indicates a very robust 2021 and 2022 as vendors accommodate both new and postponed weddings.
We currently have two companies in Southern California who have verbally committed. Our goal in Q1 of 2021 will be to sign up 10 additional rental companies with locations in Southern and Northern California.
To do this, we are raising money to hire an experienced UX Designer to join our team. The scope of work will include conducting extensive user research with the rental company owners and building a prototype of the technology that will seamlessly integrate with their inventory management systems for faster communication and a more efficient sales process.
Our founding team has 16+ combined years of working in the events industry. This experience has provided us trusted access to rental companies, whose founders and products we already work with and love. Our relationships with these wedding vendors as well as our intimate understanding of the rental process makes us uniquely qualified to solve this problem.
While Sloane began her event planning career in NYC in 2006, Heidi spent her time in Silicon Valley until they finally made their partnership official in 2017, working with couples from coast to coast and across the globe. Together, they’ve spent thousands of hours sourcing rental items for clients – each with unique styles and budgets. Franck was born out of the desire to simplify this outdated and tedious transaction process between the wedding planner, the event rental provider and their clients.
