PROBLEM Representation of BIPOC womxn in tech is grim. According to the studies, just 3% of computing-related jobs are held by African-American women, 6% held by Asian women and 2% held by Hispanic women (source: Built In, 2021), while an overwhelming 63% of women overall have never had a formal mentor during their corporate careers (source: SHRM, 2012).
MISSION Femmecubator is an online mentorship community for BIPOC womxn who want to transform their careers - and the world - through tech. With access to an on-demand mentorship website and app, resources and programming, and a supportive and experienced network of mentor leaders, Femmecubator bridges the gap to lower the barrier to entry for self-taught learners and early career UX Designers and Software Developers who need extra support in their junior years.

- Professional Development With our free and low-cost programming, bootcamps and apprenticeships, and workshops, Femmecubator provides participants with opportunities to gain experience and build their tech portfolios affodably.
- On-Demand Mentorship Femmecubator believes in the power of mentoring relationships, and our soon-to-come, groundbreaking on-demand mentorship website and app will allow BIPOC womxn to secure and build relationships with leaders in their field with ease.

Scale our operations, including the costs associated with becoming a non-profit organization and managing our on-demand mentorship website and app, and
Grow our 2022 - 2023 programming, including Mentor Match, Work4Good UX Design Apprenticeship Program, and our LiT Talks Workshop & Discussion series.
