Faye’s will provide a safe space for everyone to partake in wigs, weaves, hair styling tools, hair care, makeup, and all things hair related. There are so many universities in rural areas that have a very high percentage of black and brown students that require certain products for hair care that aren’t provided by internationally known beauty supply stores. Faye’s will represent everything that a college student of all ethnicities to feel better about themselves as far as hair care and hair representation goes. There will be a physical location near a rural campus with a large percentage of black and brown students and an online store for those who don’t have transportation or even for those who want to support from other states. The beauty supply industry is a billion-dollar industry that ranges from large stores known internationally and small local stores. However, Faye’s will be on the smaller and local end of the business spectrum. The Faye’s team which consist of the owner Ackquanetta and immediate family members (mom and younger brothers), are seeking funding that will go toward the building and its expenses i.e. utilities, small renovations, and paying the lease for at least two months.
I would like to thank all my backers ahead of time for all the support and well wishes. Everything that you have contributed to Faye’s will be used for the advancement of the business! I cannot say thank you enough for essentially backing up a stranger while she follows her dreams!
