Let’s face it, the only way to overcome poverty is by earning a college degree. In fact, in less than 3 years. 70 percent of jobs will require a college degree. In order for us to end generational poverty, we need more young women earning college degrees. For that reason, we have dedicated our efforts to providing young women with 7-years of:
- long-term mentoring
- skill-based enrichment
- intentional college preparation and success
- academic planning and career readiness
- Up to $1000 emergency financial assistance
We recognize that compared to women with lower levels of education, young women that become women with higher levels of education are more likely to build and maintain stable, progressive, healthier, happier and wealthier lives for themselves and their families.
It is our goal that young women have a chance to change the trajectory of their lives by earning a college degree and making their future a reality. At some point, the cycle has to end. And, with your help, it will.
