There are millions of women required to wear flame-resistant clothing "FRC" for their industrial roles. FRC is required to be the outermost layer of clothing for people working around hazards in oil and gas, manufacturing, and utilities, to name a few. Despite being outnumbered in these industries, women are strong-willed leaders and deserve clothing as dynamic as them.

In the U.S. alone, approximately 7 million women work in industrial companies and each day many of them wear ill-fitting and uncomfortable clothing because the FRC garments on the market today are inadequate and the selection is extremely limited. They wear what is available and roll the sleeves, cuff the leg and then deal with the parachute effect of larger armholes. These on-the-fly adaptations are a safety hazard AND a fashion tragedy!

We estimate the market size to be $2B with millions of women working in these essential jobs. Workers are required to wear this personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect them from hazards and employers are required to provide this PPE for their workers. 

Prior to starting Embher, I spent 18 years working for a major oil and gas company and have first-hand experience wearing ill-fitting and uncomfortable FRC on the job. I have assembled a team of expert advisors and along with my experience and vast network are well equipped to drive this business forward.
