J.I.V.E., which is an acronym for Juicing Is Very Essential, is a popular healthy lifestyle company on a mission to make juicing fun. The vision of J.I.V.E. Juice began in my kitchen. After dealing with minor health issues, my passion for a fit and healthy lifestyle became even more real. I wholeheartedly believe that, “Your Health Is Your Wealth”. To achieve that goal, I began juicing and making smoothies.
Over the years I found success selling the products from my home and through word-of-mouth marketing. Our claim to fame is in our ability to customize juice products to fit the specific needs of its customers. While J.I.V.E. makes no medical claims, customers have incorporated the juices into their healthy lifestyle plans to aid in fighting various conditions. J.I.V.E. has become a recognizable juice brand within communities in the greater Houston area and parts of Louisiana. All its products are sourced in Houston and its production takes place in the city’s Historic Third Ward. J.I.V.E. juices are easily incorporated into a vegan, raw vegan, vegetarian or carnivorous lifestyle.
Currently, J.I.V.E Juice is available at the 101 North Loop West Whole Foods location in Houston. Customers can enjoy top sellers such as Green Delight, Morning Glory, Energy Blast, Apple Berry Fiber and Sweet Beats. With vegetarian and vegan options, the goal is to help people “learn how to transition to and maintain a healthy lifestyle that is both pleasurable and sustainable.”
Whole Foods quality standards for new products including great-tasting food that is fresh, wholesome and safe to eat as well as free of artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners and hydrogenated fats. The company seeks out and promotes organically grown foods as well as products that support health and well-being.
Currently, our products are manufactured by Houston Bottling Company. We have one full-time worker and one part-time worker. We are preparing to expand our team. In August of 2018 J.I.V.E. Juice Company was contacted by Whole Foods Market to be apart of the new store that was opening in the Independence Heights Community. Since partnering with Whole Foods Market, we have been able to serve and reach more customers. Our partnership with Whole Foods has been an exciting journey. Last month we had a meeting at the corporate office with the Whole Foods Team and we are excited to announce that we will be going in 6 new stores in Houston next month. We are excited about expanding even more.
It has been an honor to be the first African American Female Owned Juice Company of its kind to be in Whole Foods and we plan to continue to make history with Whole Foods Market.
Thank you so much for your support in reaching our $75,000 goal.
