Diversify Disc Golf

Want to hear a story you've heard before? ..Probably not!

We load up our favorite discs, toss some snacks in the bag, make sure we have bug spray or hand warmers, toss the bag in the car and head out to our favorite local course. Sounds familiar, right? Oh, don't forget to text your buddies so they can meet you there. You all play 18 holes while laughing, soaking up nature, and enjoying the company of others.  Some play recreationally and some play competitively. But, I can almost guarantee that most of our 'disc golf lives' barely change from year to year. 

 We all SAY "Grow the Sport" and we all support the idea. Well DDG is committed to finding ways to do just that! Now, lets work on HOW!

Diversify Disc Golf is ready to mix things up in the disc golf community!

Diversify Disc Golf started about 6-7 weeks ago, as a hashtag! In this short amount of time we've had enough support to be able to transform that hashtag into an official Domestic Nonprofit Corporation with a full board of 7 directors. Sally Chatman (myself) as President/Co-Founder, Rebecca Cox as Vice President/Co-Founder, Heidi Matheson as the Official Secretary, Noah Carroll as Treasurer, along with David Cox, Ron Chatman, and Nedra Sink. Our board members were hand selected by our founders based on their inspiring credentials. Together, we plan on creating programs geared towards upholding our mission!

 This is what diversity looks like to us. With a mindset geared to reflect this model,  we can achieve unity, peace, and happiness for EVERYONE!

What We Need:

We have a few projects we're working on right now! All proceeds will be organized and disbursed appropriately back into the organization.

Our FIRST fundraiser event is at the end of January! We know it's only been about 6 weeks since we created the idea of DDG, but we're ready to get to work! This event will be a Diversify Disc Golf Meet & Greet Ft. Rebecca Cox and our DDG Team. There will be raffles, auctions, putting games and more, all leading up to a panel discussion. That will give us an opportunity to really let the world see how we view our mission and how we plan to fulfill it. Immediately following will be an after party where there will be free glo putting! We have secured the perfect location, but we could really use help with the costs of the venue. 

We're going to need custom DDG Merchandise for the event! What kind of event would we host without selling merch with our logos on it? Shirts, hoodies, bags, everything. We need a full stock of custom items for people to purchase, so we can earn funds while raising funds.

THE COST OF THE VENUE + MERCH ARE THE ONLY EXPECTED COSTS as we plan to do what we can to utilize our resources for the rest.

The purpose of this fundraiser event is to create baseline funds to launch programs within our organization once fully established 501(c)(3) status.
