Why is this important?

As a petite myself, I continued to feel overlooked by society as well as in industries like fashion and beauty. 

I believe petite women are far from rare, yet there hasn't yet been much opportunity for us to truly express ourselves for who we are.

Describe the problem you are solving.

I feel like because of the standard model height brands and media portrays to society, more petite women are ashamed or afraid to admit their height

Time after time, I believe shorter women have felt embarrassed not being tall enough & this ongoing insecurity makes us feel like being petite /short is not a favorable thing.

However, let me tell you that being petite should be celebrated and your height is wonderful, special and beautiful. There is no need to hide your height, rather embrace it for what it is.

This platform brings more awareness to our society and these specific industries like fashion and entertainment.

The more awareness we bring about the inequality petite women have faced, the more change we will see moving forward.

What is the market size/opportunity?

About 40% of the US population are petite women.

 Currently speaking, there are 1.5k+ petite women in our community, ( wide age range and body frames) and it continues to grow rapidly each and every day. 

This market is big yet has been overlooked.

What is your company/product about and how does it solve the problem? 

This space gives the community a place to feel valued, connected and empowered, as petite women.

With Petitegrls, I bring together petite women from all around the world and with this community, I continue to uplift our current and future generations of petite women to embrace their height.
