To create a community & space for car enthusiasts to realize the greatest value of their investment.
The Problem
"Car collectors of every economic strata will readily confess that the rate-limiting step in their all-consuming hobby, the measure that puts the brakes on their acquisition of ever more vehicles, is not passion or even cost. It’s space. Somewhere to store and maintain their vehicles, in a convenient location, can be a challenge." (Berk, 2019) For those seeking short and long-term storage for their vehicles, there are new options when it comes to storing mechanical machinery, from simple climate-controlled buildings to lavish country-clubs.
While car storage facilities are not a new concept, the aesthetics and perks included in fees or membership are changing to meet the demands of the new generation of car collectors.
In the Bay Area specifically, parking lots and garages are being demolished to make room for new buildings, leaving car owners with fewer, and even more expensive options.
The Market & Our Customers
Car collectors & enthusiasts with classic, rare and/or luxury vehicles in the Bay Area. The world's largest market for classic cars is the United States - home to an estimated 6-7 million collectable vehicles and boasting an increase in turnover from $626M in 2017 to $823M in 2018. From a demographic standpoint, in the SF Bay Area, approximately 40% of households have more than one vehicle and make more than $140K per year.
About Us
The Company
Devore is a service for car collectors and enthusiasts in the Bay Area to safely and securely purchase and store classic, exotic, and luxury vehicles nearby. By creating the optimal storage conditions in a convenient location, members will have 24/7 access to their cars and the member community.
With the climate-controlled space and security as the top priorities, Devore also has an opportunity to host social events and member gatherings. We will be hosting events in partnership with local businesses and provide add on-services, including: car detailing, broker services, premium spots, long-term storage options (with maintenance packages), branded merchandise and gear shop, wine storage, and cigar storage.
