60+% of women in the US are plus sized, but shops don't cater to us! We're bringing plus sized fashion to online boutiques!
Project Description
- Our mission is to provide the 60+% of the female population, who's over a size 14, with the opportunity to find clothes they love to wear and feel fashionable in.
- After years of watching online boutiques provide very minimal options, ugly options, or overpriced options: we decided that there are way too many women that are not being thought of or having their sizes covered!
- Over 60% of the women in America wear a size 14 or larger. The online shopping market is throbbing and projections show over 200% growth in the next 2 years.
- The Curved Edge will provide fashionable options starting with a size 1x and going up to 6x and beyond. We have researched vendors for only quality products. We've created a community group where we've polled potential customers for their style preferences, measurements and budget!
- We will spend funding to purchase our retail license, complete website design, purchase equipment for online live sales as well as storage for inventory. However the bulk of funding will go towards building our inventory!
- The Curved Edge is a team of two plus sized women, Cheryl & Kristina who are tired of the lack of options in affordable and fashionable plus sized clothing!
