The Creative's Corner Support Fund

The Creative's Corner Support Fund was started in March 2020 out of response of COVID-19 to support Houston-Based Creatives who lost work due to the Pandemic. The fund is now officially established as a socially driven fund to assist Black women, Indigenous Women, and Women of Color Creatives who are wishing to receive business mentoring, resources, support, and online community with The Creative's Corner Team.

"Black Women represent 42% of net new women-owned businesses started last year in the U.S."

vp wright international + The Creative's Corner Academy primarily serves BIWOC identified entrepreneurs. The goal is to be able to financially support 30 aspiring & established womxn entrepreneurs over the course of 2020 + 2021 through The CEO Accelerator Mastermind, and 4 aspiring BIWOC entrepreneurs in a 3 month private mentorship over the course of 2020 + 2021.

The Creative's Corner Academy is a online hub for aspiring and established Creative entrepreneurs, wanting to build sustainable, inclusive, purpose-led online businesses that allow them to leave their 9-5 and scale to financial freedom.

vp wright international + The Creative's Corner Academy provides services, training, courses, coaching, and mentorship in:


  • time management, mindset & life organizational skills
  • career coaching


  • creative business mentorship // mindset coaching, business set-up & walkthrough, system set-up, marketing strategy, content creation, launch strategy over the course of 3-6 months
  • ceo accelerator mastermind // 6 month, high-intensive learning incubator and support group for aspiring and early established entrepreneurs 
  • ceo accelerator young entrepreneurs summer program // 4 week, high-intensive learning incubator and support group, for aspiring BIWOC high school seniors and college students wanting to start their own creative business (launching Summer 2021)

What will the funds for this campaign be used for?

100% of the funds will go towards covering the cost of BIWOC entrepreneurs in need of financial assistance to participate in any of the group or 1:1 programs with vp wright & the Creative's Corner team, which includes overhead expenses, program materials, and staff pay. 

1:1 Services for 3 Months with 4 BIWOC entrepreneurs:
$5997 per Mentee, $23,988 in total

Group Program for Mastermind with 30 BIWOC entrepreneurs:
$555 per Mentee, $16650 in total

Young Entrepreneurs Summer Program (3 weeks virtual, one-week physical retreat) for 15 BIWOC creative entrepreneurs: 
$1555 per mentee, $23,325 in total

Who is vp wright?


VP Wright is an Author, Creative Business Mentor, & Certified Life Coach based out of Houston, TX. She received her B.A. in Comparative Ethnic Studies from Washington State University, with a minor in Women's Studies and Pop Culture, and is the Founder and CEO of The Creative's Corner, an online hub for Creatives wanting to build sustainable, purpose-led online businesses that allow them the freedom to leave their 9-5 and thrive off their gifts.

vp wright international is a sole proprietorship that a business mentor and online business manager on contract.  the company has plans to hire a virtual assistant, additional business coach to support program mentees, and a podcast manager by the end of 2020.
