Creating The Door for Women Ex-Offenders in MD

Maryland is recognized internationally for its dramatic incarceration rate, according to the Prison Policy Initiative. The daunting recidivism rate among female ex-offenders in Maryland illustrates that when it comes to Reentry, we are missing the mark. Where is the exit door? How can women be free? Who will stop this vicious cycle?

Create The Door LLC disrupts the insidious pattern of mass-incarceration by offering hope to female ex-offenders in Maryland. We provide ex-offender coaches (Change Agents), workshops, and referrals to much-needed resources. We create a sense of community among those who are often ostracized by the community.

The market size is huge considering the State of Maryland spends 288 million dollars (2019) in incarceration. We propose that more of those funds be used in rehabilitation and direct support services as opposed to punishment. Our paying customers are the Social reformists, Reentry programs, Government Officials, local and state-wide businesses and Non-profits alike will benefit from the services offered by Create The Door LLC. Our clients are the female ex-offenders in Maryland.
