Clementine’s LLC is a destination pastry shop providing the downtown community of Mount Clemens and surrounding areas a warmed soul through unique and quality pastries in a caring environment. Our wholesale customers, in the metro Detroit area, will proudly serve our products to enhance their menu options and profits.

• Clementine's Pastries Purpose

Clementine’s Pastries offers items that no one can get around downtown Mount Clemens. Our products are defined as fresh baked goods, made from scratch pastries. The pastry shop is walkable from the County Court House and Government buildings. Nearby office buildings are occupied and filled with our customers. Our design and offerings will allow for our customers to efficiently purchase pastries and coffee for breakfast, on a break, or at lunch.  We will also set hours of operation to accommodate the many events and festivals held in downtown Mount Clemens. We will market to the government workers, court house attendees, local businesses, the community including school personnel, church patrons, and other large groups of people who frequent the city. We will build relationships with restaurants and cafes located in the metro Detroit area to secure wholesale contracts with them as we provide them with desserts/pastries to sell at their establishments. Specialty orders for cakes, decorative cookies, and pastries will strengthen purchase options for our customers.

• Clementine's Pastries market size/opportunity

Mount Clemens has approximately 20,000 visitors to the city daily. Most of these visitors come to the downtown are for work, county business, the county court house, religious reasons, or for school as Mount Clemens High School and Middle School, Saint Mary’s, and Prevail Academy are right downtown or within a few blocks away. Downtown Mount Clemens is growing in population and with the number of businesses in the area. The city leadership has major plans to gain more visitors through interest and popularity in the downtown and through various projects that will increase the foot traffic.

Clementine’s LLC is a staple in downtown Mount Clemens. Clementine’s LLC will provide the community with the highest quality of pastries and sweet treats. Clementine’s will be the go to place for desserts and pastries for walk-in and special order customers as well as a wholesale distribution to restaurants and cafes in the metro Detroit area. 

• Why are you seeking funding and how will you spend the funding?

Starting a business requires a lot of planning, work, and funds. We have worked hard to give everything we have to get Clementine’s Pastries started. The funds that we seek to obtain will help us with the many startup costs associated to starting a business, such as, equipment, materials, supplies, inventory, etc.
