Our Mission
Inform and educate about learning differences, and connect families with professionals who can help children and adolescents achieve their full potential.
The Problem
- An estimated 2.4 million American school-aged children have been identified with learning disabilities, and an additional 15% of students (11.1 million) struggle due to unidentified and unaddressed learning, attention and social-emotional issues.
- Over 20 percent of children (14.2 million) have some type of diagnosable mental health problem in the first 18 years of their life, and most of them never receive services.
- When a child struggles, most parents and many educators don’t know why, what to do or what that child needs.
- When kids struggle with learning or social-emotional challenges, it keeps them from reaching their goals.
The Solution
We created ChildNEXUS.com to meet the needs of families with a child who is struggling at home or at school. This platform provides expert-curated content to parents and teachers around the identification of learning disorders, mental health issues in children and adolescents, and intervention. This allows us to educate and inform the public about the challenges that many children & adolescents face.
ChilNEXUS.com goes a step further and connects parents and educators with professionals who provide psychological and educational support services. By doing so, we create greater access to professionals who specialize in the assessment, treatment, and educational support of children and adolescents. Through content and connecting, we can change the lives of children and adolescents who struggle so that they can thrive.

“Great information about learning difficulties and how to help students in the classroom and how you can really help change their lives.”
“Thank you for bringing up the importance of communicating the need for assessment immediately, and some of the “hidden” issues that our students are struggling with. Your point is spot on: if we want to help the student, then we must first tackle the obstacle that is at stake.”
“So important to know how to best teach students who are wired differently!! Thankful to know how to best serve them.”
“Great information and definitely worth knowing. I will be more sensitive to be on the lookout (without obsessing) for kids who may need assistance and not just assume that they are doing fine and just need”
