Cheeza Weeza Food Truck

Allow me to introduce mysellf, I am Stephanie, or "Aunt Weeza". I was given that name 16-17 years ago by my nieces and newphews, and it has just stuck with me. 

I am also a single mother to a 13 year old daughter, and I work 45-50 hour a week in an office job. It is my lifelong goal to become self employed one day, and that day is very close! I have an ambitious goal of opening my own mobile food service operation, and one day moving up to an actual food trailer. At 41 years old, I have worked more than half my life at making someone else a lot of money, while barely getting by myself. I don't look to get rich, but I do look to live comfortably, and I want to teach my daughter important life lessions while doing so.  Lessons such as customer service, time management, and budgeting, just to name a few. 

This business will be a family business, with myself as the owner, and as my daughter gets older, she will be given the opportunity to run her own food truck or trailer. Obviously by the time she is ready for that responsibility, I will have several mobile food establishments in my fleet. 

The our menu will start off simple, a variety of 4-5 specialty grilled cheese sandwiches, such as the favorite - The Jalapeno Popper! We will include a variety of "dessert" grilled cheese sandwiches as well. The most popular is the Glazed donut with bacon and havarti cheese! 

As our business grows, so will our menu! 

I have started this fund to assist in raising funds for various things to grow our business, and put us in a position to be successfull. 

Most importantly, the funds will allow us to purchase certified commercial equipment, such as a propane commercial griddle, a 4 pay sink, and down the road - a deep fryer! Those items are all required to obtain an annual Food Service Operation License. That license will allow my establishment to set up anywhere within Ohio, and does not place a limit on how many events I am allow to work. 

The Temporary License I currently work under (because I do not have all commercial equipment) requires a $50 fee per event, and I am limited to 10 events per year! That really puts us in a questionable state when it comes to profits and the ability to expand and grow. 

Additionally, the funds will also provide a way to purchase a large inverter generator, and an enclosed trailer for transport of equipment, as well as for storage when not in use. The generator will be required with several events as they don't always provide electrical hook-ups, and it must be an inverter style, not an open frame due to the noise of the open frame. 

Funding obtained will also allow for my business to stock up on necessities, such as food service serving supplies, plates, paper boats, utensils, cups, and napkins. We will also need cleaning supplies, cook wares, condiment bottles, POS system, KDS system, internet hotspots, fuel of generators, propane for griddles and so much more. 

And lastly, we would have help paying for things like insurance, event fees, payroll & payroll programs, online tax providors, a website, advertisement, and a CPA.  

One day, I hope to be in a place where I can give back. I would love to be able to set up during the summer to provide lunches to students who are out of school, provide my services for fundraisers, and raise funds for great causes.
