- The mission of Breton Naturals is to produce high quality, ethically sourced, organic skincare products using sustainable methods that don't harm the planet.
- The majority of established "big brand" skincare is made from chemical-based ingredients in mass production facilities that add to planetary pollution. Breton Naturals aims to become one of the first skincare brands to use 100% renewable energy to make its products.

Solar panels provide a good portion of our renewable energy. - The market size is potentially worldwide, among women of all ages who have disposable income and the desire to take care of their skin. The opportunity lies in persuading women to make a more sustainable choice when purchasing skincare. Women are becoming more environmentally aware, and many women now actively choose to support ethically-conscious small business, especially when they are woman-owned and operated.
- My company makes small batch, handmade, artisan skincare. My products are made from ethically sourced, cruelty free, certified organic and certified vegan ingredients, and made using 100% renewable energy at my off-grid homestead. I do not use harsh chemicals, animal byproducts, parabens or pthalates in my products. My formulations are all natural, with no artificial colours or fragrances.

I make each and every batch by hand. - I'm seeking funding because I am a bootstrapped business, I have no capital investment and no savings. I'm currently creating this business one day at a time. I need the funding to build an off-grid kitchen workshop and a greenhouse so that I can grow as much of my organic ingredients as possible, and take the pressure off my own already overstretched home kitchen. I also should have a separate facility for sanitary reasons (you really don't want golden retriever fluff in your moisturizer, do you?!) I also need to up my game with respect to my labels & packaging, and for that I need to hire a designer, and then get everything professionally printed.
