Frequently Asked Questions:
What is Break the Love? What do you do?
Break the Love is your personal tennis concierge, helping you book courts, coaches, matches, rallies, and other tennis programming and experiences. Members of our community additionally gain access to exclusive access to discounts on partnered brands, tennis clubs, and more.
In order to become a member, all you need to do is create a log-in. Our concierge team will then gather information about your location, tennis level, appetite for competition, and interest in various offerings like player matchmaking, court bookings, coaches, and lessons so we can pair you with the opportunities to play you’re most interested in.
What makes BTL different from other tennis organizations?
Break the Love is a player first, community first, organization. As players ourselves (ranging all levels of skill) we’ve always been frustrated by the lack of opportunity to play tennis in the ways we want — whether that’s being able to rally at a park, or easily book a coach. We wanted to solve this problem by taking care of the logistics and enable players to focus on the game rather than the details.
Does BTL book courts?
Yes! No matter your location, we can help you determine the right place to play. The first question is, are you willing to wait for a court? If you are, we’re happy to recommend free public courts in your area. If you aren’t, we can help you reserve court time at a pay-to-play club near you.
Does BTL offer coaches and lessons?
Yes! We have a growing network of pre-vetted coaches who can help improve your game whether you’re learning how to get the ball over the net or have dreams of going pro (anything is possible!). Inquire with our concierge team to get paired with a coach based on your skill level, goals, location, and budget.
What type of player is BTL for?
Our goal is to help all tennis players easily connect with the opportunities to play and learn that they’re seeking. If you’re looking to learn or get better, we can connect you with coaches, lessons, and clinics. If you’re looking to play more frequently, we can connect you with local courts, clubs, and players based on mutual skill level and appetite for competition.
How can I get BTL to come to my community?
Let us know where you are! Once we know there is interest in our offering in a certain area, we can focus on growing our community in your location. No matter the location, we can help you discover opportunities to play and learn locally. Upon reaching a minimum user base, we can start to offer all BTL programming including local leagues, events, and tournaments.
