Affordable Mental Wellness Care for Black Women

Sista Afya Community Mental Wellness was founded in 2017 to provide community support to young Black women living with mental health conditions.  Sista Afya provides mental wellness education, community programs, individual and group therapy, and social events with the purpose of supporting Black women throughout their healing journey.

Since our founding, we've served over 1000 Black women in Chicago and want to expand our business to serve more women through increasing our staff to provide low-cost individual and group therapy.  Your support towards our $10,000 goal will provide us with the capital to hire 2 additional therapists by the end of this year and to open our new mental wellness clinic on the South side of Chicago.
