In today’s climate, women need a platform that will allow every woman's experience to be told and heard, especially women of color.

Our podcast platform sets out to expand the conversations we have with our closest friends, with others, who care to broaden their perspective on sex, love, marriage and relationships, all based on what we call, Fempirical Evidence.
African American women shouldn't just have a voice, they deserve a platform. With podcasting quickly becoming one of the most notorious and innovative mediums in broadcasting, investing in black women in media empowers a movement that is both necessary and long overdue.
Podcasting is growing exponentially, but according to a study conducted by Tom Webster and his research team, as of 2018, only 38% of those listeners are women of color, 12% of which are African American. We want to use our platform to increase that number, as podcasts are quickly becoming essential to how we learn and share relevant information. https://www.edisonresearch.com/podcasting-and-race-the-state-of-diversi…
Our company product is about giving women, especially women of color, a voice. We accomplish this by having the conversations people often stray away from; those necessary but uncomfortable conversations. But this podcast is also about fun and most importantly, encouraging women to love themselves and feel empowered.
We are seeking funding in an effort creatively navigate some of the financial hurdles that come along with entrepreneurship. As single, millennial parents and entrepreneurs, we understand the importance of both offering and reaching out for support. The funds will be used to purchase recording equipment, pay for recording/engineering expenses, administrative expenses, travel costs and marketing.
Our team consists of myself, Quia Tarantino, womanist, audio engineer and writer, and my longtime friend Nikki Petty, social media personality and military veteran.
To all who take the time donate or simply check us out, thank you! What we aim to do is empower women and challenge the common beliefs and attitudes that poorly influence and underserve women in today's society.
