Alexis Russell is a mother, wife, and passionate story enthusiast who authentically leads with her words and voice. She gained extensive nonprofit experience at the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, and The Cause Collaborative, and has a heart for fostering necessary change in communities. Her work at these organizations included event management and planning, strategic planning, committee and volunteer activation, development of corporate partnerships, content creation, and marketing. Alexis also has a passion for public speaking and has shared her secrets to successful storytelling and making meaningful connections at multiple conferences across the country and internationally.
Her most recent accomplishments include completing the KIPP Accelerator Leadership Program, becoming an Aspen Ideas Festival Scholar, earning her certificate in the Women’s Entrepreneurship program with Cornell University, and becoming a business owner. She values authenticity, compassion, and empathy, believes in speaking out against any and all injustice, and recognizes and acknowledges that everyone has a purpose, everyone has a story worth sharing, we must be intentional about the actions we choose to take, and everyone isn’t worth your energy.
