Reign Free sits at the helm of The Red Door Group, but she isn’t your average CEO - She is a hyphenate entrepreneur who began her career in fashion marketing as an instructor for The Art Institute of San Francisco. Having founded The Red Door Catering in 2006, when she was still teaching, this one-woman operation and Shaker Heights, Ohio native single-handedly built a multi-million-dollar company.
Today, The Reds Door is the go-to experience designer and catering company in the Bay Area and has future plans to expand to Southern California and the East Coast. Their client base is growing exponentially, and Reign’s vibrant personality and client management prowess are at the core of it all. With the support of her amazing staff handpicked by Reign, The Red Door trusted expertise is relied upon to execute a slate of high-end social and corporate special events for an enviable roster of clients including Obama Foundation, Facebook, Louis Vuitton, 50th Anniversary of the Super Bowl, and more.
The Red Door is more than a catering company, it is a dining community of experience seekers from every walk of life. Reign’s commitment to ask the most important question of “How can we help?” has allowed her to produce events that bring the change her clients desire. Reign’s passion and commitment to giving back drive her invariable contributions and participation with numerous charitable organizations. She co-founded “Not Forgotten” a bi-annual community dinner and comfort pack give away for the community members with food insecurities in the Bay Area. She has also served on the board for the Black Farmers of California, while volunteering and donating to numerous charities including EOYDC, Meals on Wheels, Bay Ganda Foundation, and The National Coalition of 100 Black Women.
While Reign maintains an active full plate, she always makes time for professional and personal enrichment.
