I am passionate about creating tools that will help hard-working and talented individuals succeed.
I have always been an avid student and eager to learn. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the George Washington University in 2010 with a Bachelor's in Biology. Afterwards, I worked in a neurogenetics lab in which we sought cures for psychiatric diseases. This led me to pursue a Master's degree in Psychology, which I earned from Argosy University in 2016. I was interested in creating apps for individuals struggling with mental health issues, but didn't have the business knowledge to do so. Thus, I pursued business school and earned an MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business in May 2019.
When I was younger, I loved painting, drawing, fashion, and singing. I took courses in fashion design in 2010 and worked as a fashion model from 2014-2019. Over the years, I've met many talented visual artists, musicians, fashion designers, and others in the arts and entertainment space. In January 2019, I came up with the idea for an app that would help visual artists and musicians earn revenue from their craft, by providing them with tools for recording and sharing their music, and a platform in which they could connect with businesses and individuals seeking to buy or license music and art for their ads. I called the app "Craft Music" because it embodies the combination of visual art, music, and skill. I also believe that creating art and music can be very therapeutic for people.
Since January, I have built a strong team with a highly skilled lead developer, several additional developers, a Chief Marketing Officer, and a UI/UX designer. I've continually gotten feedback on the app from fellow visual artists and musicians and it has come a long way since inception. We expect to start beta testing by the end of September!
