Kirsten Schultz is a writer and activist living in Madison, Wisconsin. She writes about her journey with chronic illnesses and ways to improve healthcare at Not Standing Still’s Disease. Her newest project, Chronic Sex, focuses on opening up conversations on how chronic illnesses and disabilities affect Quality of Life - specifically how people relate to and see themselves, relationships with others, and sex lives.
When she’s not working on projects or her master’s degree, Kirsten can be found spending time at home with her husband and their two guinea pigs, Gus Gus and Jaq. She also enjoys hiking, playing the ukulele, and meditating. You can learn more about Kirsten and her projects at kirstenschultz.org.
