Being a career woman since I received my Barbie "We Girls Can Do Anything" board game when I was 8yrs old. My dad was away on his submarine and it was a gift given to me on the military base. Just like that, my fate was set. The only problem was that I wanted to be and do everything! If you asked me at any given point in my life what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say that "I wanted to be an actress, artist, fashion designer, AND singer", (and I still do). As we grow up, we realize that things take time and training so we have to streamline our career dreams to make them more achievable but-if you're a dreamer like me- you try to create a job that combines all of your skills and passions. This is what has led me to start Lady.
I graduated from the University of North Texas in December of 2013 with a degree in Hospitality Management and immediately moved to Nashville, TN- the country's newest and coolest city on the rise. Since then, I've spent my time trying to find where I would fit in this quickly growing town. I spent my time in college learning about the sale of the intangible - an experience - as well as good customer service during the day and spent every ounce of my free time training models, styling shoots, and assisting in Dallas's major fashion shows. Once in Nashville, styling and event planning never fully took root, so it was back to the drawing board to find a way to create my perfect job. Which brings us to today, and my creation of of Lady Lingerie, where I merchandise and design!
