Amanda is a professor of journalism at Vanderbilt University, a Bloomberg columnist, and the award-winning author of The Fate of Food: What We’ll Eat in a Bigger, Hotter, Smarter World. She has spent two decades writing about the environment, climate change, and innovation, and a decade teaching undergraduates. All this work has written for publications from The New Times to Rolling Stone and appeared on NPR’s “Fresh Air” with Terry Gross, Morning Joe, and CNN with Fareed Zakaria. Her recent TED Talk has 1.2M+ views. Amanda went to Brown University and dreamed up Kidizenship with the help of her kids, Aria and Nico, age 12 and 9.
