Tara Aldrich is the CEO & Founder of Educators On Call, an educational staffing agency serving charter schools and independent agencies in the Greater Philadelphia Area. She is a career educator with more than 20 years of experience. Starting as a substitute herself, in Washington, D.C., (a few years after graduating with a Bachelor’s in Marketing from Howard University) Tara found her life’s calling. She was born to teach! It was through the charter school administrator lens that she identified her passion for the under-supported and often poorly trained temporary staff.
In the summer of 2012, Tara Aldrich founded Educators On Call, combining her business and education experience. Her mission is to provide area schools with a team of guest teachers and support staff that come prepared to meet the needs of today’s classroom.
Along with running her business and raising her family, Tara is very active in her community. She has served as a teen ministry leader at Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, had membership in the Black Women’s Educational Alliance of Montgomery County, the National Association of Professional Women, the Professional Women’s Business Network, served as the Board President of Calling All Female Entrepreneurs from 2015-2017, is a Cohort 6 graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10K Small Businesses program, and is a member of National Coalition of 100 Black Women-Pennsylvania Chapter.
