LapaDuu Beeswax Food Wraps

LapaDuu (aka beeswax wraps for food) is a nature-friendly and biodegradable replacement for cling film. Which are also good-looking. Just so much prettier than a cling film. All LapaDuu`s are hand-made with love. The biggest advantage over cling film is that LapaDuu is breathable, like a peel of an apple or a lemon (LapaDuus are airtight but breathable).    it means. LapaDuu really keeps all the food so much longer fresh than a cling film. I can give examples: Onion cut in half can stay inside the LapaDuu crunchy and fresh about a month. Also, cabbage and herbs will stay inside the LapaDuu fresh up to one month. Freshly baked bread will be soft even after a week, like it was just made today. Even Ciabatta bread is soft after a week. Or for cheese, there is no better place, because you know that cheese is actually alive and want some breathing material to cover it. That is why the cheese inside the LapaDuu stays fresh unbelievably long. (I know it sounds unbeliever, but LapaDuu`s breathable features allows food to breathe, but at the same time, LapaDuu is also airtight and has antibacterial features.). How? What is LapaDuu made of? It is just a cotton fabric (all the fabrics have an organic certificate) that is covered with capping bee wax (the purest of all bees wax types). In addition, there is also added some pine tree raisin and jojoba oil added to give them extra durability. Also, the beeswax and pine tree raisin adds some antibacterial features. That is why no mold or other bacteria cannot grow inside LapaDuu so easily. The amazing thing about the LapaDuu is that you can shape it with the warmth of your hands, and it keeps whatever shape you give it. So it is really convenient to wrap your food in it, cover the bowls, take a sandwich on the go, and so on. Do not worry; LapaDuu`s are also washable with lukewarm water.

LapaDuus is reusable and zero-waste. An additional super plus is that LapaDuu`s are so good-looking that it's really easy to fall in love with them. Even if you are not an eco-minded person at all, it will help you forget about the cling film, for sure. Because LapaDuu`s are better-looking, zero-waste, nature-friendly and long-lasting (One wrap can last up to 2 years, and you can refresh it easily to continue using them even longer). 

My mission is to make even those people to use LapaDuu`s who maybe do not care about sustainable lifestyle at all. I just try to attract them with the beauty of LapaDuu`s so they cannot resist changing their cling film instead of nature-friendly LapaDuu. So Mother Earth can have at least a little less trash to handle. <3

In estonian: Teen käsitööna imenägusaid ja keskkonnasõbralikke nn. vahakangaid. Ehk siis korduvkasutatavaid ja loodussõbralikke toidukile asendajaid, mis tõesti kõik söödava palju kauem värskena hoiavad. Niisiis väheneb seeläbi suuresti ka kodune toidu raisku minemine ja ära viskamine ja loomulikult ka toidukile kasutamine. LapaDuud hoiavad kõik söödava värskena isegi paremini kui kile! Miks, sest LapaDuu on küll õhukindel kuid ta laseb toidul hingata.  Kõik, mida me sööme on ju elus ja siiski tahab hingata. LapaDuu annab justkui õunakoore efekti. (LapaDuu koostis on tavaline, ökoloogiliselt toodetud kangas, mis on kaetud meisilasvaha, männivaigu ning jojoobiõliga, ehk siis üdini puhas ja naturaalne ning antibakteriaalne). Lisaks ka kätesoojusega vormuvad. LapaDuud saab peale eluaja lõppu täiesti nulliks kulutada. Ehk siis LapaDuud ei jätta tükkigi prügi meie emakest maad kurnama. Lisaboonusena on need ka imenägusad, mis ehk ka mitte rohelise mõtteviisiga inimesed neid kilele eelsitama meelitavad.
