Project Description

Equitable access to healthcare via Telemedicine is the solution to gender disparity, as well as, ethnic and cultural disparity in medicine. The COVID pandemic has revealed how unhealthy the United States population is relative to obesity as a severe comorbidity when it comes to mortality of patients in the current COVID pandemic. Additionally, there has been a marked increase in overdose deaths relative to the opioid epidemic secondary to a lack of access to outpatient treatment clinics in the opioid use disorder population.

For future business and fiscal growth, the practice would like to focus more on Women's Health Telemedicine, Obesity Management Telemedicine, Chronic Pain Management Telemedicine, Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Telemedicine, and Therapeutic Medical Cannabis Telemedicine for socioeconomically disadvantaged areas and populations by garnering a greater market share via investing in digital marketing, such as, Google Ad services, Facebook Ad services, Textmagic for marketing blitzes, construct ads with Constant Contact, and utilize Alignable for online newspaper ads/online networking.  Hiring more staff, such as, an Executive Virtual Assistant and a Virtual Book-keeper would also greatly facilitate business and fiscal growth.
