"Seven Keys to Kicking Butt!" With no business training, Kraft created
award-winning female ways of starting and managing businesses.
Project Description
I’ve been teaching women and girls for years about the joy of working for yourself, teaching how to do it inexpensively using the power of the Internet and helping them get over their fears. Why is going into business important for females? It’s projected that in less than 20 years half of the jobs in America will be lost to artificial intelligence (AI). And the majority of jobs lost to AI are ones that women do.
To help women avoid that financial disaster, I created a signature system for them about going into business called “What They Don’t Teach Women in Business School—Seven Keys to Kicking Butt.” It’s very powerful for women! The Blandin Foundation sent me this letter after I spoke at its Leadership Conference: “We can find any number of people to give technical assistance but you give people hope."
My mission of hope: To help women get over the three myths they tell themselves about why they can't go into business: (1) "I'm too old." (2) "I don't have the right training." (3) "I'd have to invent something." NONE OF THOSE ARE TRUE! Another problem is that, unfortunately, females have always been told that in business the way to succeed is to "act like a man." I developed a more feminine system of business that has more joy and more practicality than the masculine system we've all grown up with, to give them the tools to achieve that without needing to give up their more comfortable feminine way of working.
I teach to give women and girls the courage to go into business or use the “Seven Keys to Kicking Butt’ signature system to expand the ones they already have. I had no business training, yet created two businesses that each did two million dollars a year with systems I created—and now teach.
With the power of the internet, it is amazing how many businesses can be started with very little money. As just one example, a man knew about the great interest on Etsy in making jewelry from Scrabble pieces. But the only instructions he could find were not very good. So he taught himself how to make the jewelry, did a great video of how to do it, and wrote detailed instructions. Some months he made $25,000 selling his instruction kits!
I heard a business professor say that it is a shame that schools teach the technical aspects of entrepreneurship, but not the heart of it. The heart is what I teach. The male way of leadership is what is taught, but it can be uncomfortable for women. Women are not just small men in dresses! I show how the female way can be equally as effective if not even better in many instances, using my signature system of “Seven Keys to Kicking Butt.”
My signature system is so different I was inducted into the Minnesota Women Business Owners Hall of Fame, and also received the following awards:

This highly praised signature system is what I teach other women.
Here's what I'll use the funding for: I've been holding workshops for women where I live, but I now want to expand this program outside of my geographical area to rural women, inner cities, prisons, etc., areas where women need hope. Funding will be used for travel expenses, printing instructional literature, sponsorships to my "7 Keys" online class, office expenses, and wages for staff.
