Support Public Educators And Their Wellness. We support educators by providing collaborative retreats, self-care and development workshops.
Project Description
Wellness for Educators’ mission provides support to public educators in the areas of after-class care and personal & professional self-development.
This initiative was inspired by our friends in education. We heard their stories and felt their struggles over the last 2 years. In 2022, The U.S. experienced a huge shortage of educators. We knew we had to focus on the well-being of our educators. There are many wellness programs, however not many focus on the unique situations our public educators face.
The Sankara Travel team has over two decades experience in education. Along with a background working toward providing educational equity. This combination allowed Sankara to create retreats and workshops that provide safe spaces for educators to learn and grow. We provide activities and workshops that centers around support educators need.
