Project Description
- We advocate for trauma responsiveness changes in a variety of areas, mostly mental health, incarceration and with returning citizens. We educate and bring awareness to individuals and systems of the underlining traumas that these individuals already have. There are many procedures as well as policies that don’t take preexisting trauma into account, causing further challenges and anxiety for individuals without solutions.
- 313 Network Solutions wants to bring equity to the systems where the voiceless are not being heard. Through presentations, workshops and podcasts, we will provide education, awareness and supportive resources. The people that are voiceless have had many years of power stripped away from them by childhood trauma, abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
- Funding is needed to start up to inquire a team that includes, website design, direct service work to aid persons in need as well as develop workshop curriculum.
