Vision D&I - D&I focused Task Management platform

Intro​​​​​

The lack of diversity and inclusion is an issue that occurs throughout ALL industries. Companies that already have employee affinity groups and DEI team members that are struggling to create a more streamlined, succinct and collaborative workflow would be most benefited from our platform. If a company does not have either affinity groups OR DEI teams, that's okay! Helping with the creation of DEI structure and formation of teams is especially vital and on-boarding directly onto the Vision D&I platform sets these teams up for success. 

Why do we need Vision D&I?

Following the increasing social justice losses and sweeping Black Lives Matter movement exposure, companies were eager to support the need for diversity and inclusion by posting statements of support, forming diversity clubs and promising increased diversity efforts within their own environment. 
1) Diversity Clubs + other Employee Affinity Groups were created without any clear goals for growth and support for employees passionate about installing diversity and inclusion
2) DEI Teams were created and told to increase diversity and engagement without any clear budget and quarterly and monthly goal direction
3) DEI, Employee Affinity teams and HR teams remained in individual silos. SUSTAINABLE diversity and inclusion efforts are achieved as a cross team effort with goals that compliment each other and build up together, transparency on where the company stands to date with their numbers and efforts and accountability and acknowledgement from leadership

Our Solution

Vision D&I solves this problem by providing a task management platform specifically for Diversity and Inclusion that:
1) Allows for streamlined and collaborative tracking and creation of quarterly and yearly objectives across teams 
2) Creates and management of events, initiatives and meetings for DEI, employee affinity and HR teams separately in one collaborative platform that tie back to in-platform objectives for tracking against D&I objectives on all levels 
3) Randomized employee sentiment surveys that are trackable and anonymous to compare employee sentiment against diversity progress made for a holistic view

4) Teams that are able to work together with goals and objectives that build up together and have accountability and transparency on company progress & team progress

What will the funds be used for?

We are raising $50k to build out the Vision D&I platform and start bringing on beta partners to test it out. The money will go to the development, testing and on-boarding of Vision D&I and help us expand. 

Meet the founder! 

Hey there! I'm Manali Hanamsagar and I'm the founder of Vision D&I. I founded the company in 2018 as a means to help support and empower women of color in all verticals. We've held events and workshops to help give the resources for women to lift themselves up. Vision D&I is a task platform and a solo effort that was born out of a pure need I noticed when attempting to build DEI structure for several instances. I'm hoping you join me in this journey so we can ensure the foundation for diversity and inclusion is created so companies can focus on doing the work.
