Project Description
The Village of Help is a non-profit serving individuals in Eastern NC
~It is our mission to introduce at risk youth and Seniors to multiple forms of Art to aid in mental health and positive engagement. We plan to travel all over Eastern NC and provide services free of charge.
It is our goal to address issues related to the following: ~Drop out rates. ~High Crime rates in low income communities. ~ Anxiety and Depression amongst the population. ~ Poor health literacy.
~ Eastern NC has approximately 1.42 million residents. And we are requesting funds to assist us in obtaining a mobile classroom and supplies to provide education/services to our local community $50,000 will allow us to obtain a large enough vehicle to up-fit, purchase needed supplies, and provide our volunteers with monthly stipends.
