Vehicle update

Due to the last two years of covid lock downs I do not have the required back history of income to be approved for a loan. I have a 700+ credit score but it is not helping.

I drive for Lyft and Hop Skip Drive, have a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen that gets very good gas mileage but it will be too old to qualify for either app in 10 months. I really need to update my vehicle ASAP.

I have been looking into the Kia Niro Hybrid (with regenerative braking not the pull-in) which gets even better mileage @ 50 city mpg and 47 highway. The newer the better but price is a concern.

I am hoping your foundation could give me a grant to be applied towards a newer vehicle. My Jetta is appraised with a $13,000 trade in value so I don’t need a super large loan but between $10,000 and $15,000.

With a $17,000 I could purchase a new Kia Niro, I have never owned a new car.
