Healthy Dining provides an app that will help Vegans, Vegetarians, (or anyone else who may be interested), transition to a healthier life style. The app not only identifies local Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurants, but can be downloaded at a nominal fee by anyone with a Smartphone. Vegans and vegetarians face many difficulties when looking to dine out while still promoting their healthy eating habits; especally those who like to travel. For example, not all restaurants offer vegan or vegetarian options and it can be difficult to locate restaurants that do. Additionally, many surveys estimate that less than 5% of the population identifies as either vegan or vegetarian. Given this relatively small community, it can be difficult for many vegans and vegetarians to meet each other. There is a need for improved systems and methods for facilitating the selection of dining options for those persons with specific dietary restrictions, such as vegans and vegetarians. The end goal for Healthy Dining is to become the number one vegan social networking app on the market.
