Uptown Vibes

Born and raised in the Bronx, I have always had a drive for entrepreneurship. I have been cooking since I could remember. I recently opened up my business Uptown Vibes with the menu originating from me and my kids favorite spots in New York City. We are known for the “Uptown Vibes Steak and Lobster”.   I offer 15 years of customer service, retail and restaurant management experience. We pride ourselves in presentation and providing exceptional colorful and great tasting foods.

Since starting, my boys and I been setting up under tents with our equipment from large grills, fryers, tables etc. We have several challenges, however the main one is the need for an actual food trailer with all the equipment needed to help support and run the business. Without the trailer we face getting clearance from the local health department and access to a commissary. Furthermore, the weather can be a stumbling block, if it’s raining or cold the equipment will cause us to shut down immediately, loosing money. The funding would afford us the ability to purchase a food trailer with a full kitchen, purchase inventory at wholesale cost, licensing and permits to help us be a successful operating business. 

Our passion is to give back and provide jobs, training and encouragement to upcoming business owners.  To provide quality service and food and eventually offer upcoming aspiring food truck owners the opportunity to expand by us purchasing more trucks to lease and train to help them get started. As well as eventually offer affordable commissary rental spaces for aspiring business owners.
