Week One
The City of Russell formally approved the restoration of RU Cabin, in partnership with Kristen Matthews, owner of Appalachian Folkology, and Carly Stout, owner of Sage & Root.
This past week Carly and Kristen have aggressively been pursuing grant funding, with multiple grants already submitted. We have a very large grant due Wednesday that has consumed most of our time lately. We have been working roughly 6-10 hours each day solely on the planning and grant writing process.
We have just created and announced the crowdfunding platform, as well as created our new pages to track progress.
