2 More Weeks!
I am happy to say the space is finally coming along! The kitchen has been completed for a while since I have been using it to cook the weekly meals since January, but the front area has been sitting on the back burner until I found afford to move forward.
We are almost finished painting, and last night Danny (my spouse) put up all of the beadboard. Today we're discussing designs for the shelving, which we will build together this week. I have ordered inventory and began interviews for staff yesterday.
Looking back to when this fundraiser started, this day felt so far away. I am happy to share that I anticipate the opening day to be March 1st - 2 weeks from today.
