Hi Everyone! I wanted to inform folks as to the crowdfund strategy. So many people keep looking at our numbers and going, "How can you possibly get to 50,000.00???"
I'll tell you how.
First, my friends and family (everyone reading this at this moment) need to assist me in getting to 12,500.00. Far less than 50k, but no small ask either! The reason for this is the perception from strangers who may want to invest---they have to see traction in those numbers. That number hits the sweet spot where, according to my crowdfunding coaches (Yep, I received a little bit of coaching before I did this), I will be able to earn their trust and contributions. See, a stranger doesn't know me from a German Shepherd. They don't know what I've overcome, what I have worked through or what I am capable of, they only see NUMBERS. So you folks, who know me, who know how I've managed plenty of major challenges in my life, you are the ones who need to help me convince them. That is our goal, between us--12,500.00. Doesn't seem so far away now, does it?
Once we get that far (and we will, I am 100% confident of that), I can invest a little bit in advertising and in digital media marketing to get the word out. And that traction you all helped me to build, will be the endorsement these folks need to click "Fund It".
