Our public schools have one thing in common--lack of funding on all levels.  PTA's do their best to help with fundraising, however are always hitting up the same parents for donations and their time.  Unfunded is here to bridge the gap--this platform allows for higher dollar projects to be funded by reaching a broader community.  The mission for unfunded is to create community driven impacts--think how a new gym will affect a community for Friday night basketball games, or how a new playground can help kids exert energy, a place for parents to get know other parents.  According to the National Center for Education Statistics, we have over 98,000 public school buildings in America, most of these buildings are, on average, 42 years old. And how often do simple things like carpet get replaced?  How often do classrooms get new furniture?  And do ALL schools get the same updates in your neighborhood?  With a team of licensed Architects, unfunded can help estimate and prioritize projects.  Unfunded is seeking $70,000 to help with advertising and getting the word out.  Thank you for your help and contributions!
