Umi Way: Pay for a Student's First Therapy Session

Umi Way is a platform that connects users and mental health providers of similar identities (racial-ethnic, gender, lived experience) through a two-sided marketplace where users and providers engage with mental health in a way they have not before. Our platform serves as a "one-stop shop" for providers to automate their practices, and users to keep track of their wellness journey.

Mental health services are severely underutilized by communities of color because of their cost, stigma, and failures to address their situational conditions that warrant the need of treatment in the first place. By offering culturally-nuanced practices at an affordable cost, Umi repairs the fractured relationship between communities and mental health.

Every $40 pays for a student to receive a free counseling session. Pay it forward! Every $1 counts too! Each donation with help us afford a new scheduling platform, chat moderator, and onboard the first round of providers to launch the first user cohort.
